DSCO's dispute resolution practice includes issuing letters of demands, negotiating, drafting and advising on dispute settlement agreements and assisting with dispute resolution proceedings, namely litigation, arbitration and adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).

2024 - 2025: Acted as instructing counsel for a US citizen in opposing an application at the High Court and subsequent appeal at the Court of Appeal by a judgement debtor to set aside the principal suit and bankruptcy order.

2023: Acted as instructing counsel for a US citizen in obtaining a bankruptcy order from the High Court against a Malaysian individual.

2021: Acted as instructing counsel for the Malaysian subsidiary of a NYSE listed company in respect of the client's arbitration claim against a subsidiary of a Malaysian listed company on account of an outstanding sum of approximately RM500,000 owed for services rendered.

2020 - 2022: Acted as instructing counsel for a US citizen in applying to the High Court for the recognition of a foreign arbitration award in favour of the US citizen and opposing the respondent's subsequent appeal at the Court Appeal against the High Court's decision to allow the recognition application.

2020: Acted as instructing counsel for a Malaysian industrial products manufacturer in defending a claim of approximately RM800,000 under the Construction Industry Payment & Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).

2020: Advised a Malaysian industrial products manufacturer in respect of a potential demurrage claim by a shipping company arising from a shipment of goods during the first lockdown (MCO 1.0) in Malaysia.

2018: Acted as instructing counsel for a South Asian paper products company in respect of the recognition and enforcement in Malaysia of a US$50 million arbitration award handed down by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) against Pacific Ocean offshore companies controlled by Malaysian residents.
